The RAL K7 colour fan is a tried and tested tool for professional colour design that has been in use for decades. The 216 colours are divided into 193 solid colours, 15 pearlescent colours, 6 fluorescent colours and one micaceous iron and one metallic colour.

The future of colouring with water based RAL K7

Produced with water based paints, the RAL K7 offers precise colour matching and simultaneously reduces VOC emissions in production. With a production run of 250,000 K7s, approx. 6 tonnes or approx. 90% of VOC emissions can be saved compared to conventional nitrocellulose lacquer production. This corresponds to a C02 equivalent of around 36 tonnes. This represents an important step towards environmental compatibility.

What makes the water based colour fan so unique?

The paints are low-solvent and low-odour
The water based paint used is more UV-resistant than nitrocellulose lacquer and thus increases the protection against yellowing of the colours
The lid of the fan is made from 100% post-industrial polypropylene waste
The colour samples are precise and true to colour as usual
